[OOC: Vince is 29 years old, though he's easily mistaken for younger. He's about 5'7", small and slight and well-coiffed and fussily-dressed. He's very good at sneaking up on people, and tends to blush easily.]
Vince likes to freak people out, as they're eating his cooking, by telling them that it was Hannibal Lecter who first made him want to be a psychologist. It's true, though what he really means is that when he was young, he wanted to be a criminal profiler.
How he got to being a high-school guidance counselor from there, he's not sure, but it's not so much of a letdown. He likes kids, and it's important to him that he can give vulnerable students the kind of sympathetic role model he never had. At this point in his life, what he wants most is a doctorate and a license to use it.
He's still not so great at figuring out where the counselor part ends and his personal life begins. He's been dumped by more than one boyfriend who objected to being treated like a patient. When that doesn't do a relationship in, his control-freak tendencies usually do. He's working on it, though, or at least he thinks he is.
Depending on the verse, Vince can be either a guidance counselor or a Ph.D student.
